Sandrina Carere is a Professor at the University of Victoria’s School of Child and Youth Care. Her work focuses on participatory, action-oriented, and arts-based research, emphasizing child-, youth-, and community-led practices. She employs intersectional, anti-colonial, and land-based frameworks, with expertise in critical girlhood studies, youth studies, and Indigenous foster care systems.
