Sandra Nyberg-Akremi is a Research Fellow at Linköping University's Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning (IBL), affiliated with the Division of Psychology (PSY). Her work focuses on child and infant development, particularly in language acquisition and early communication. She is part of the Child and Infant Lab, contributing to studies on parental influence and environmental factors shaping language skills.
Her research interests include developmental psychology, cognitive growth in toddlers, and sociolinguistic factors affecting language development. Recent studies examine correlations between parental mental state talk and toddler language abilities, as well as communication training methods for educators.
