Sandra Neumann

Prof. Dr. Sandra Neumann holds the W3 Professorship for Inclusive Educational Processes for People with Language and Communication Impairments at the University of Erfurt's Faculty of Education. She also serves as Director of the Erfurt School of Education (ESE) and Head of the MA Special and Integration Education program. Her research focuses on inclusive education, speech and language disorders, and communication participation for children with cleft lip/palate malformations (LKGSF).

Her work emphasizes evidence-based interventions for speech impairments and quality of life assessments in aphasia and transgender voice care.

Key projects include FOCUS©-G for preschool communication evaluation, LKGSF Therapy for cleft palate interventions, and 6-day intensive speech therapy camps for children with craniofacial malformations. She contributes to journals like Journal of Speech, Language and Hearing Research and Forum Logopädie, and serves on scientific advisory boards for multiple academic publications.
