Daniela Eiband

Daniela Eiband serves as a Researcher at the Institute for Special Education within the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Würzburg. She holds key roles as Program Coordinator for the Academic Speech Therapy/Logopedics (B.Sc.) program, providing academic advising and teaching specialized courses in speech diagnostics, language intervention, and therapy research.

Her research centers on prelinguistic vocalization development and early language acquisition, with specific focus on early identification of language disorders in children and the impact of orofacial clefts on speech development. She investigates diagnostic methodologies and evidence-based early intervention strategies for communication impairments, particularly in pediatric craniofacial populations.
