Sandra K. Knapp is a Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences at the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB). She holds an MS in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Georgia Regents University (2014) and a BA in Psychology from the University of South Carolina (2010). Professionally, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with extensive clinical experience, including roles as a Forensic Interviewer and Clinical Director at substance use treatment centers.
Her research interests focus on abnormal psychology, trauma, clinical interventions, and the professional development of psychology students pursuing clinical careers. She teaches diverse courses including Abnormal Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Biological Psychology, and Internship Coordination.
