Dr. Wendy Celoria is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at Belhaven University since 2025. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Supervisor in Mississippi, with two decades of experience in intensive inpatient care counseling, specializing in addictions, eating disorders, trauma, and body image work.

Dr. Celoria’s research and practice emphasize clinical mental health counseling and the supervision of counselors, focusing on developmental stages of therapists and person-centered supervision approaches. She specializes in family therapy, addiction treatment, body image, trauma counseling, and diagnosis of eating disorders.
Her teaching portfolio includes Abnormal Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Substance Use Disorders, Childhood and Adolescent Disorders, Counseling Ethics, and Integration of Christianity with Counseling. She supervises licensing counselors and students, fostering professional growth in the field.
