Sandra Iregbu

Dr. Sandra Iregbu is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, School of Nursing. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, and completed postdoctoral training at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Recent publications highlight her work on interventions for homebound adults with type 2 diabetes, functional disability in criminal justice system-affected populations, and sociocultural barriers to diabetes care in Africa. Her research emphasizes patient-centered approaches and health equity.
