Sandra Brzoza is an Adjunct Professor of Nursing at Roberts Wesleyan College, where she has taught for over 20 years. She specializes in Transcultural Nursing, particularly healthcare of the Amish community, the History of Nursing, and Leadership. Her professional roles include leadership workshops for healthcare organizations and consulting on management practices. She holds a Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education from Rutgers College of Nursing, an M.S. in Nursing Administration from the University of Rochester, and a B.S. in Nursing from Nazareth College.

Her research interests include bridging cultural gaps in healthcare delivery, historical nursing practices, and fostering positive leadership attitudes. She integrates John Maxwell’s Attitude 101 into her First-Year Seminar (FYS) curriculum, emphasizing self-assessment of student attitudes. Beyond academia, she volunteers with Buddy Readers to assist children in literacy and is active in the International Edsel Club and Rochester Medical Museum and Archives.
Brzoza teaches courses such as RN-to-BS modules on Nursing Research, Leadership, and Practicum Projects, alongside electives in Telephone Nursing and Women’s Issues. She also leads the GED 100 First-Year Seminar.
