Sandi McMichael, MSN, FNP-BC is an Instructor and Director of NP Clinical Services at the Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing, Samford University. With over three decades of nursing experience, she specializes in Family Nurse Practitioner care, Women’s Health, and Maternity Care Clinic Development.

Her research focuses on Obstetrics and Women’s Health, including projects on prematurity prevention and antiviral therapies during pregnancy. She has presented on topics ranging from teen pregnancy prevention to hormone replacement therapy.
McMichael received the NIH Professional Nurse Traineeship Scholarship (1998) and Excellence in Leadership award from Baptist Health System (2002). She actively participates in professional societies such as CANPA, NPAA, AANP, and NONPF.
