doc. dr Sanda Stanivuković is an Associate Professor at the Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Banja Luka. Her academic role includes teaching and research in horticultural science and genetic resources conservation. She holds a docent position (II-4) and specializes in the study of fruit crops, particularly focusing on biochemical and physiological aspects of fruit quality, genetic diversity of traditional cultivars, and sustainable storage solutions.
Her research interests span genetic resources preservation, postharvest technologies, and the biochemical analysis of fruits such as apples, pears, cherries, and hazelnuts. She actively participates in national and international projects, including the characterization of fruit germplasm and the development of climate-resilient agricultural practices. Notable projects include the 'Savremene tehnologije pakovanja voća' initiative and collaborations with institutions like the ECPGR network.
