Dr. Samuel Kusi is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Marketing and Strategy Department, University of Bradford’s Faculty of Management, Law & Social Sciences. He previously served as a Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Greenwich. His research focuses on international entrepreneurship, branding, decision-making under uncertainty, and blockchain technology applications. He holds a D.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration from the University of Vaasa, Finland, where his thesis explored decision-making logic in international entrepreneurial branding.
Dr. Kusi has led multiple funded research projects, including the €360,000 'International New Ventures in Health Industry' project (2019) and the €2.1M SolarX initiative (2020). He has secured grants from the Foundation of Economic Education, Finnish Cultural Foundation, and others. His teaching includes modules on International Marketing (MAR7504-A) and Foundations of Marketing (MAR4002-B).
His research publications span topics like SME internationalization, blockchain adoption, and sustainable branding in Africa. Collaborations include projects with Aalto University, ABB, and World Vision International. Kusi’s work integrates theoretical frameworks with practical industry insights, emphasizing innovation and organizational change in global contexts.
