Dr. Samuel Jarvis is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at York St John University's School of Humanities. He holds a PhD from the University of Sheffield (2018), MA and BA from the University of Leeds. His research focuses on the intersection of international relations and political theory, examining global collective action challenges related to mass atrocities, climate change, and pandemics. Key areas include UN Security Council dynamics, R2P normativity, and UK foreign policy post-Brexit.
