Samuel Beroud is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of History and Ethnology, University of Jyväskylä, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities. His work focuses on historical and ethnological studies, particularly analyzing economic diplomacy during the 20th century.
Research Interests:
- Historical analysis of international economic relations
- Comparative studies of Finnish, Swedish, and Swiss diplomacy
- Post-oil shock geopolitical dynamics
Grants: Since 2023, he has been a team member of the Liquid Neutrality project (2023–2027), funded by the Research Council of Finland, examining Finnish, Swedish, and Swiss economic diplomacy toward OPEC from 1973 to 1986.
