Samuel Anokye Nyarko

Samuel Anokye Nyarko is an Associate Professor at Montpellier Business School, specializing in Finance & Accounting. He holds a Ph.D. in International Business from the University of Agder and a Ph.D. in Economics and Management from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.

His research focuses on sustainable and inclusive finance, gender diversity in finance, corporate governance, and microfinance. He is affiliated with the Centre for European Research in Microfinance (CERMi) in Belgium and the Center for Research on Social Enterprises and Microfinance (CERSEM) in Norway. His work explores topics such as credit risk in microfinance, board composition impacts on social enterprise performance, and international market strategies for impact investing.

Key publications include studies on gender dynamics in lending, governance of hybrid organizations, and international ownership effects in social enterprises. Samuel teaches Corporate Finance and Sustainable and Inclusive Finance, contributing to bridging theoretical and practical advancements in financial systems.
