Dr. Samran Sheriff is a Research Fellow at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation and an Academic Casual at Macquarie University's School of Natural Sciences. He holds affiliations with the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences, and the Faculty of Science and Engineering. His research focuses on clinical ophthalmology, dementia neuroscience, implementation science, and genomics applications in primary care. Dr. Sheriff completed his PhD at Macquarie University in 2023, earning the Vice Chancellors Commendation for Academic Excellence, and has since conducted postdoctoral research at the Woolcock Institute on dementia-sleep disturbance links.
