Sami Hamdan is an Instructor in General Internal Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine, Yale University. He holds academic appointments in the Internal Medicine Program in Addiction Medicine and contributes to clinical education and research. His professional journey includes a MD from Tufts University School of Medicine (2019), an MPH from Boston University (2015), and a BS from Boston University (2013). He is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2022.
Research interests focus on healthcare disparities, addiction medicine, and quality improvement. His work addresses racial/ethnic disparities in HIV testing among drug users, organizational structures for healthcare change, and community-based prevention programs.
