Ebony Caldwell, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. She completed her Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at Yale (2023), residency and chief residency at Howard University Hospital (2019-2022), and holds an MD from Medical College of Georgia (2018) and MPH from University of Georgia (2013). She is board-certified in both Adult Psychiatry (ABPN, 2022) and Addiction Psychiatry (ABPN, 2024).
Research Focus
Dr. Caldwell's research examines addiction treatment methodologies, particularly opioid use disorder pharmacotherapies and their interaction with synthetic opioids. She also investigates HIV prevention strategies among vulnerable populations, with emphasis on social network influences and health disparities reduction. Her work bridges clinical practice with public health policy development.
