Research Focus
Her work centres on improving self-management and health-system delivery for people living with COPD and multiple chronic conditions. She combines quantitative and qualitative methods, co-design and pragmatic clinical trials to develop scalable, evidence-based interventions such as the APCOM Program and the PRISIMA-PECO digital health trial.
Recent Articles & Trends
Over the last decade Dr Ansari’s publications have clustered around three themes: (i) design and evaluation of COPD self-management programs delivered in primary care; (ii) digital health maturity and telehealth adoption in low-resource settings, particularly Pacific Island nations; and (iii) systematic reviews synthesising evidence on multimorbidity, mHealth and secondary use of electronic health data. These works inform both global policy (WHO, APSR) and local clinical practice guidelines.
