Samantha Tang

Samantha Tang is a Lecturer at the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Law. Prior to her appointment, she served as a researcher at the Centre for Asian Legal Studies and as an Associate Editor for the Asian Journal of Comparative Law.

Samantha specializes in corporate law across Commonwealth jurisdictions, with a focus on shareholder stewardship and ESG investing. Her work addresses gaps in shareholder inspection rights, comparative corporate governance frameworks, and the intersection of law with sustainability practices.

Her research appears in journals like Law Quarterly Review, Lloyds’ Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly, and Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. She is affiliated with the Centre for Asian Legal Studies and contributes to the Asian Journal of Comparative Law.
