Samantha Keppler is the NBD Bancorp Assistant Professor of Technology and Operations at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Her research focuses on the intersection of private sector entities and public education systems, emphasizing educational supply chains, generative AI companies, and nonprofit educational services. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Northwestern University and an M.S.Ed. from City University of New York.
Her work explores how private companies influence educational effectiveness, equity, and efficiency. Notable collaborations include studies with DonorsChoose, yielding impactful publications in Management Science and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management.
