Samantha Jennings

Dr. Samantha Jennings is a DNP and Commander in the U.S. Navy, serving as Phase II Site Director in the Graduate School of Nursing at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). Her roles include leadership as Department Head of Military Readiness and Family Medicine at Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor. She holds a BSN from Seattle University and a DNP from USUHS, specializing in military healthcare and nursing education. Jennings has deployed in support of Operation Allies Welcome, providing refugee care in Indiana. Her research focuses on military families, sea survival, and women’s health access, with notable presentations at national conferences and the 2025 TSNRP Nursing Research Award.
