Samantha Dix is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Simulation at Monash University’s School of Nursing and Midwifery. She holds a Doctorate by Research from the same institution, alongside qualifications including a Master of Nursing (Emergency Care) from La Trobe University and a Diploma of Applied Science (Nursing) from Monash University. Her expertise focuses on simulation-based education (SBE) to bridge knowledge and clinical practice gaps in healthcare education.
Dr. Dix’s research emphasizes leveraging SBE to enhance healthcare professionals’ skills, particularly through interprofessional collaboration and consumer co-design. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), aiming to improve patient care through innovative educational strategies.
