Dr. Samantha Brooks is a Post-doctoral Researcher at King’s College London’s Department of Psychological Medicine. She joined King’s in 2009 after completing her PhD in Social Psychology at Loughborough University. Her research focuses on mental health in high-stress occupational groups, including healthcare professionals, military personnel, and diplomatic staff. Key areas include workplace stigma, disaster response, and trauma intervention. She leads the GRADE project exploring psychological impacts of disasters on employees and develops workplace psychosocial training programs for managers.
