Dr. Saman Sarbazvatan is a Visiting Professor at the Institute of Sustainable Management (ISM) and serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Deputy Dean at École des Ponts Business School. His work bridges academia and industry, focusing on the convergence of Circular Economy, Digital Economy, and Sustainable Competitiveness, leveraging technologies like Blockchain, AI, IoT, and Web3 to drive impact-oriented innovations aligned with SDGs and ESG principles.
Research interests include enabling technologies for Industry 4.0, symbiotic sustainability models, and business/industrial innovation. He advises entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers globally, and holds roles as an external expert at the European Commission, member of Forbes Business Council, Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, MIT Technology Review Global Panel, and Senior Advisor at Circular Economy Alliance and related centers.
