Sam Van Holsbeeck

Dr. Sam Van Holsbeeck is a Research Fellow at the Forest Research Institute (FRI) and Forest Industries Research Centre (FIRC) at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Originally from Belgium, he moved to Australia in 2016 to pursue a career in forest research. After completing his PhD in 2021 on "Determining the potential of forest biomass resources for bioenergy production in Queensland, Australia," he became a Research Fellow at UniSC, where he has developed a diverse research profile focused on sustainable forest management solutions.
