Dr. Leanda Garvie is an Associate Lecturer in Accounting at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), affiliated with the School of Business and Creative Industries. She holds a PhD from UniSC (2023), an MPA from S.Qld., and BAppSc degrees with Honors from Qld.UT. Her expertise spans accounting theory, sustainability accounting, carbon accounting, and forest-based bioeconomy. Garvie’s research focuses on leveraging forest residues for renewable carbon, bioenergy development, and climate change mitigation. She has contributed to projects assessing biomass supply chain efficiencies and emission offsets in Queensland's forests.
