Salmaan Inayat-Hussain is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Yale School of Public Health. With over 30 years of academic and industrial experience, he currently serves as Chief of Staff at Ipieca while maintaining his academic appointment at Yale. He previously held leadership roles including Dean of Health Sciences at the National University of Malaysia and Professor of Toxicology.

His research focuses on environmental health, toxicology, and risk management, particularly examining chemical exposure impacts. Recent work includes toxicogenomic data-mining for hydrocarbon effects on cancer mechanisms and occupational risk management during pregnancy. Publications span journals like Genes & Environment and Scientific Reports.
