His office is located in White 331 and he can be reached at greg.landry@mcphs.edu or 617.879.5968.
Dr. Landry's research focuses on critical areas of toxicology:
- Mechanisms of toxicity of alcohols, glycols, & carboxylates
- Renal toxicology (human and veterinary)
- Development of antidotes for poisonings
- Mechanisms of calcium oxalate kidney stone formation
- Toxicological risk assessment
His laboratory specifically investigates target organ toxicity characterization of diethylene and ethylene glycol poisonings, renal toxicological mechanisms of grape toxicity in canines and lily toxicity in felines, and has developed a Drosophila melanogaster model for studying heavy metal-induced calcium oxalate nephrolithiasis. He teaches undergraduate, graduate, and professional courses in toxicology, drug metabolism, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.
His notable scientific awards include:
- 2025 Society of Toxicology Undergraduate Educator Award
- 2021 Gail P. and Edward A. Bucher Trustees' Award for Excellence in Faculty-Student Research Collaboration Award
- 2014-2016 NIH Nephrology Research Training Grant Appointee
Dr. Landry is a board-certified general toxicologist (DABT) and serves as an external consultant on toxicology-related cases for private, governmental, and legal entities. He is affiliated with the Society of Toxicology and the Northeast Chapter of the Society of Toxicology.
