Sally Taylor

Sally Taylor is a Senior Lecturer at the School of the Arts, York St John University. Her artistic practice focuses on drawing and painting to explore human relationships and emotional resonance through found materials. She has exhibited widely, including recent shows such as Head Blocker (ArtShed Glaisdale, 2023), X Contemporary British Painting (Newcastle, 2023), and works featured in the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize tour (2022–23). Taylor is a Founding Director of AHH Studio Collective in Malton, fostering artist communities and education programs.

• Exhibitions: Dalby Forest Residency (2021), The Far Away Nearby (Rabley Gallery, 2020), and international participation in Miami’s Ink Art Fair (2016–2018).
• Awards: 2014 Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize winner and 2023 Contemporary British Painting member.
• Teaching: Leads modules ART501M Stuff & Things and ART5012M Something & Nothing.
