Sally Goldrick is a Lecturer in the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry at Curtin University, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities. She holds a position in the Office of the Provost and is based at Curtin Perth in Building 208, Room 408. With over 20 years in media production, her career spans roles at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) in Perth and Sydney before transitioning to academia.
Her specialties include Multicamera Production, Documentary Production, and Drama Production, with a focus on Indigenous media and educational content. Notable achievements include winning the 2016 OLT National Teaching Award for the Noongar Dandjoo series and the 2018 Humanities Major Creative Work award for Heart Coming Home. She has been nominated for ATOM Awards multiple times for Indigenous documentary work.
Her creative works explore themes of cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and historical narratives. Recent projects include the Energaia series (2022) and the Noongar Dandjoo educational series. Her work bridges media production with educational innovation, particularly in Indigenous language and cultural revitalization.
