Saleem Sahawneh is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Central Florida since Fall 2022. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (UCF, 2017), a master’s in Electrical Engineering, and a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering. His teaching spans university, college, and adult education.
Research Interests: His work focuses on passive microwave remote sensing, radiometric calibration, geophysical retrieval algorithms, and autonomous vehicle technology. He explores safe and effective ecosystems for autonomous vehicles and mobility infrastructure.
