Sal Aurigemma is an Instructor in the Information Technology Management (ITM) Department at the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. He holds a Ph.D. in CIS (2013), an MS in Information Systems (2001), and a BS in Nuclear Engineering (1992). His research focuses on organizational security culture, end-user cybersecurity awareness, and improving small business cybersecurity practices. Prior to joining UH, he served as an Associate Professor at the University of Tulsa (2013–2023) and retired as a Naval Officer with extensive IT and cybersecurity experience in defense sectors.
