Sakurako Inoue is Professor of French Studies in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Waseda University, Japan. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses spanning French language acquisition, French literature history, and French society, while supervising graduation theses and research seminars.
Her research centers on French Renaissance literature and the historical evolution of the French language, with a 2024 publication examining linguistic identity in early-modern prose. She currently leads graduate research seminars on French literature and offers a diverse set of language and culture classes each semester.
