Sajia Ferdous is a Lecturer in the Organisation, Work and Leadership (OWL) department at Queen's Business School, Queen's University Belfast. Her research focuses on workplace inequality, particularly intersections of gender, age, class, and race/ethnicity in employment contexts. She teaches human resource management at postgraduate level and holds roles as Postgraduate Research Coordinator (OWL) and Examination Officer for specific undergraduate programs.
Education: PhD (University of Manchester). Her research interests include organisational behaviour, HRM, and gender dynamics in work environments. She has published on topics like green precarity, intersectionality in talent management, and translocational approaches to understanding South Asian British Muslim women's work trajectories.
Key areas of research output include explorations of sustainable workplace practices, digital precarity for older workers, and divergent ageing concepts affecting extended working lives. Her work often employs intersectional frameworks to analyze structural inequalities in labor markets.
