Dr. Sai Krupa Das is a Professor at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and a Senior Scientist at the HNRCA (Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging) at Tufts University. Her work focuses on advancing metabolic research in aging populations and addressing obesity-related health conditions through nutritional interventions.
Education:
- PhD in Human Nutrition, Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Tufts University
Research Interests: Dr. Das investigates calorie restriction's effects on aging, precision nutrition approaches, diet patterns and chronic disease prevention, and methodologies for capturing dietary intake. Her current projects include leading the CALERIE™ Legacy Study (long-term follow-up of caloric restriction effects) and the NIH-funded Nutrition for Precision Health Study at the New England Clinical Center.
