Saerom Lee is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, University of Guelph. She holds a PhD in Marketing from the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University and previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Her research explores identity, social influence, and social motivations in consumer decisions, with a focus on prosocial behavior, sustainable consumption, and well-being. Key areas include how touchscreens affect support for social causes, marketplace morality, and the psychology behind luxury consumption in professional settings.
Dr. Lee has published in top-tier journals like the Journal of Consumer Research and Journal of Marketing Research, receiving awards from the Academy of Marketing Science, American Marketing Association, and others. She serves on editorial review boards for Journal of Marketing Research and Journal of Retailing.
