Saera Khan is a Professor of Psychology at the University of San Francisco, where she directs the Social Cognition and Judgment Lab and teaches courses in Social Psychology, Advanced Research Methods, and Psychology Practicum. She serves as Co-Chair of the Psychology Department and Co-Director of the Center for Research, Artistic, and Scholarly Excellence.

Her research focuses on social cognitive processes underlying stereotype reliance and its consequences for stigmatized groups, as well as cultural influences on moral judgment formation. She has developed innovative pedagogical tools like the Jamovi Tutorial Project and investigated workplace ethics dynamics.
Recent publications span topics including stereotype reduction interventions, employee silence about wrongdoing, and identity-based moral reasoning, often intersecting with interdisciplinary perspectives on social justice and inclusive teaching practices.
