Dr. SaeHim Park is an Assistant Professor of History at Xavier University of Louisiana, specializing in modern Korea, transnational feminism, and visual culture. Her research examines Japanese and U.S. militarized imperialism through photography, film, and memorials.
She teaches East Asian and world history courses with themes of gender, politics, and the environment. Current projects include a book on the Statue of Peace memorial and studies of ocean diving cultures in Asia.
Dr. Park serves on committees for the College Art Association and SECAC, supporting diversity in arts scholarship.
