Sabrina Livanec is a Doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Psychology, University of Freiburg. She is affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence livMatS (Freiburg Center for Interactive Materials and Bioinspired Technologies). Her research focuses on applying psychological and philosophical methodologies to evaluate ethical principles and acceptance of bioinspired technologies. She has published in Philosophical Psychology and The Anthropocene Review, exploring topics like Cognitive-Affective Maps (CAMs) for ethical analysis and transdisciplinary approaches to technology acceptance. Her work is funded by the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft).
Key projects include analyzing basal attributes of living materials systems and developing software to predict attitudes toward emerging technologies using CAMs. Livanec’s research bridges cognitive science, ethics, and materials science, contributing to the understanding of human-technology interactions in the Anthropocene.
