Dr. Lisa Reuter is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Freiburg Institute for Basic Income Studies (FRIBIS), investigating societal narratives around basic income and socio-ecological transformation. Previously, she completed her PhD in the Cluster of Excellence livMatS at the University of Freiburg, focusing on Cognitive-Affective Maps (CAMs) as research tools. She holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Psychology from the same institution. Her work bridges psychology, philosophy, and interdisciplinary sustainability research.

Research Interests: CAM methodology development, socio-political narratives of basic income, sustainability in technology, and critical psychology. Her work emphasizes bridging quantitative/qualitative methods and fostering transdisciplinary collaboration.
Publications: Recent work explores CAM reliability, pandemic experience mapping, and ethical evaluation of bioinspired technologies. CAMs are shown as versatile tools for capturing complex human attitudes and societal dynamics.
Advising & Grants: Supervised 7 theses advancing CAM applications. Funded by DFG (German Research Foundation) for livMatS-related research. Co-developed Valence and C.A.M.E.L. software for CAM data collection/analysis.
Labs & Teams: Part of livMatS’ Sustainability research group and FRIBIS. Collaborates on CAM methodology with interdisciplinary teams across psychology, philosophy, and materials science.
