SUSANA ESTHER JORGE VILLAR

Susana Esther Jorge Villar serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Specific Didactics at the Faculty of Education, Universidad de Burgos. She actively contributes to the APIENSE research group (APrendizaje INterdisciplinar en SEcundaria), focusing on interdisciplinary pedagogical approaches for secondary education.

Her academic foundation includes a 2002 PhD from Universidad de Valladolid, where her dissertation applied structural mineralogical techniques (XRD, FTIR, Raman) to analyze historical pigments in Castilla y León's cultural heritage under Dr. Fernando Rull Pérez's supervision. This work bridges earth sciences and educational methodology.
