S. Salama is a Professor at the Department of Water Resources (ITC-WRS), Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), University of Twente. With over 20 years of experience, they specialize in remote sensing and geoinformation science, focusing on transforming spatiotemporal data into solutions for global challenges like water quality and hydrological processes.
- Education Contributions: Taught 19 courses, supervised 60 MSc/post-graduations, served as Programme Director for the M-GEO master's programme for four years, and chaired its Programme Committee alongside Spatial Engineering for two years.
