Dr. Ryan Vogel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Resource Management at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. He holds an Adamany Research Fellowship and has prior academic experience at Southern Methodist University and Penn State Erie. His research focuses on person-environment fit, abusive supervision, employee engagement, and misfits in organizations. Vogel has secured an NSF grant for studying the long-term trauma of abusive supervision and explores daily engagement dynamics. He teaches organizational behavior, leadership, and quantitative methods in MBA and Ph.D. programs.
Education: Ph.D. in Management from the University of Georgia.
Research Interests: Vogel’s work bridges organizational behavior and psychology, emphasizing how workplace environments affect employee well-being and productivity. Notable areas include:
- Consequences of value incongruence
- Posttraumatic stress/growth from abusive supervision
- Role of daily clothing choices in workplace perception
