Dr. Ryan Scoats is a Lecturer in Sociology at Coventry University's College of the Arts and Society. He teaches modules including Gender and Society, Scenes & Subcultures, Family Life & Social Change, and Contemporary Identities & Intimacies. Scoats earned his BA (Hons) and Master of Research from the University of Bath, followed by a PhD in Sociology from the University of Winchester (2017).
His research focuses on threesomes, consensual non-monogamy, and shifting gender/sexuality norms.
