Ryan Bellinson

Ryan Bellinson is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) at University College London (UCL). His work focuses on urban climate policy, governance innovation, and participatory research methods, aiming to bridge theory and practice in creating equitable and sustainable cities.

Ryan’s research examines how cities develop climate policy through participatory governance structures, leveraging transnational networks and grassroots activism. His embedded research with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority redefined citizen-practitioner collaboration in climate planning.
