Ryan Baldwin is a Research Fellow at Turning Point, affiliated with Monash University, where he contributes to the National Alcohol and Mental Health Service Hub (NAMSHU). He completed his PhD in 2024, examining the impact of Northern Territory alcohol policies on child and adolescent assault and maltreatment. His research focuses on alcohol policy, adolescent mental health, adverse childhood experiences, and public health. He holds a background in psychology and has expertise in data analysis, report writing, and manuscript development.
Key projects include the 'From Richmond to Mallacoota' initiative, where he acts as a Chief Investigator to assess equitable access to opioid harm reduction services in Victoria. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals addressing health, equity, and societal well-being.
Ryan’s publications (2019–2024) analyze alcohol policy impacts on violence, adolescent mental health during crises, and online alcohol delivery practices. His research emphasizes policy evaluation, public health outcomes, and data-driven approaches to societal challenges.
