Ruxandra Monica Luca is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing at HEC Montréal. She holds a PhD in Marketing from Imperial College London, an MA in Psychology from the University of Toronto, and a BSc in Psychology, Human Biology, and Cinema Studies from the same university. Her expertise spans Digital Marketing, Consumer Psychology, and Visual Attention. Current research focuses on AI integration in marketing, consumer behavior analysis, and the psychological dimensions of workplace dynamics.
Recent publications include studies on AI acceptance factors via meta-analysis and buyer perspectives on electric vehicle technologies. She teaches courses like Consumer Behavior and Digital Marketing Strategy. Supervised projects include strategic market expansions and ESG-focused advertising initiatives.
Her work bridges psychological insights with marketing challenges, using neuroscientific measures to evaluate trust and compliance in financial services contexts. Research also explores visual attention mechanisms in product selection and the role of disruptive innovation in business models.
