Ruthie Angelovici

Dr. Ruthie Angelovici is an Associate Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Missouri's College of Arts and Science. Her research focuses on the genetic and metabolic control of seed amino acid composition, employing GWAS, functional genomics, and bioinformatics to understand metabolic networks in plants. She investigates how amino acid networks respond to environmental changes and evolutionary constraints, aiming to improve crop quality through breeding and biotechnology.
