Ruth Gutiérrez Delgado

Dr. Ruth Gutiérrez Delgado is a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, affiliated with the Department of Languages and Literatures of Europe and the Americas. As a senior lecturer from the University of Navarre, Spain, her research examines poetics, myth, and heroism in audiovisual narratives through philosophical and cognitive lenses.

Her interdisciplinary work spans European cinema, family representation in television, and cross-cultural mythologies, including the Quixote legend in Eastern Europe. She has presented globally on immersive media and narrative cognition.
