Russ Daly is a Professor and Extension Veterinarian in the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences at South Dakota State University, and serves as the State Public Health Veterinarian for the South Dakota Department of Health. He specializes in epidemiology of food-animal infectious diseases, zoonotic disease, and public health. Dr. Daly holds a DVM from Iowa State University and MS in Biological Sciences from SDSU. His work includes veterinary continuing education, teaching, and advising on animal health issues.
Education: B.S. in Animal Science (SDSU, 1988), D.V.M. (Iowa State, 1990), M.S. in Biological Sciences (SDSU, 2013). Board certified in Veterinary Preventive Medicine (ACVPM).
